PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVER (DSD) TRAINING:
Divers who do not have any license for day diving may want to improve their diving experience, dive
deeper and become a licensed diver after making an introductory dive in shallow water of 5 meters.
In order to receive this diving training, a minimum of 4 days is needed. However, in order not to
deprive those who do not have that much time from this pleasure and experience, after the
introduction of 4 skills, which is normally the 1st day of the training, the diver who practices the 4
skills introduced in shallow water can be entitled to receive a diver certificate that can dive up to 12
meters with the presence of a diver instructor.
The skills to be done are as follows.
– Regulator cleaning in two ways (by pressing the button, cleaning by blowing)
– find side lost regulator
– half mask discharge
– buoyancy adjustment
– underwater communication signals
However, the diver who receives this certificate must come to the diving center where he received
his training within one year and complete the remaining diving training. Otherwise, the dsd license
obtained after one year will be automatically revoked. Or they can go to any diving center and
renew the dsd form by repeating the dsd training from the dive instructor who has a padi license.
PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER DIVING TRAINING:
In the Padi system, many dive levels have been established in order not to lose willing and keen
divers, to register these people in the diving system, and to complete the trainings whenever
possible. One of them is the master scuba diver level. The diver who wants to become a master
scuba diver can dive up to a maximum of 12 meters, provided that he shows his license at all dive
centers, wherever he goes in the world, after receiving a 2-day diving training.
The skills to be done are as follows.
– Regulator cleaning in two ways (by pressing the button, cleaning by blowing)
– find side lost regulator
– half mask discharge- buoyancy adjustment
– swimming/floating comfortably for 10 minutes at a depth that is impossible to stand on
– switch from snorkel to regulator
– pulling a tired diver
– cramp relief
– underwater communication signals
