PADI OPEN WATER DIVER DIVING TRAINING
Open water diving training, which is given for a minimum of 4 days, is the first step of the
professional diver training level accepted by the diving community. With the license obtained, you
can dive up to a maximum of 18 meters at dive centers located all over the world. Diving training
consists primarily of theory and then surface and underwater skills. During the theory training,
firstly, after the video narration, on the boat or in the classroom environment, the development of
various diving information, the equipping of the equipment, the introduction of underwater skills,
etc., and after the trainings, surface and underwater skills are started.
The skills to be done are as follows.
